		<description>If the two computers are near each other, and they both have a network card, you can connect them together using a crossover cable.  This is a special network cable where the recieve and transmit wires are crossed to the opposite position on each end.  You could then set up the network between the two.

If they aren&#039;t near each other and you really do want to create a dial-up using the Internet Sharing within XP.</description>
