I have a bunch of computers on my network. I have configured my router to route any incoming remote desktop connection to my server. However, I want to be able to remote in to another one of my machines too. If I add that to the list additionally, how is the router going to know which machine I want to route in to. How do I configure my router to allow me to remote in to more than one computer on my network ? I have a DLink DIR – 655 router.

I have 8 computers in my office network 4 wired and 4 wireless. I use 1 as a print server and shared file repository. I can access the shared resources with my hardwired computers but not with the wireless ones. All are running XP. I have no problem accessing the internet or another Linux server usng SSH from anywhere. Just the shared drives and printer on this machine. The wireless machines can see the other computes but just cannot connect to them. I am using a Sonicwall firewall/router and WAP encryption on the wireless network.

In the past, I’ve plugged in my ipod on the primary computer and another computer in my house. Both had itunes installed. However, whenever I plugged my ipod into the second computer, the files were erased off my ipod. Therefore, I had to plug it into the primary computer to retrieve the files again.

So, how can I save the same files on both computers without running the risk of deleted files?

I have been trying to look for some information about it on google but offered no help. So I thought I would ask here. But I have 3 computers that i want to hook up to the same internet connection via DSL the confusing part is 2 of them are regular desktops and one is a laptop that can have wireless. Two of the computers are upstairs so i don’t see how it is possible without wires going everywhere. PLEASE HELP! Any Information is well Appreciated.

My trendcillin program scans the computer routinely for viruses and spyware. This list keeps popping up saying that there are several computers showing up linked to my computer. Does this affect anything and how do I stop it? When I go to do not trust it doesnt remove them from the list saying they are connected!
